ABOUT THIS COMMISSION
Designed as a successor to the DBR1, the DBR2 made its debut in 1957, featuring a distinctive, aerodynamic body designed by Carrozzeria Touring. Under the hood, the racing car boasted a 298 bhp 3.7-litre straight-six engine, capable of delivering impressive performance on the racetrack. The DBR2 was primarily built for competition, with a focus on endurance racing, and it participated in notable events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Despite its racing prowess, only a limited number of DBR2s were ever produced, adding to its exclusivity and desirability among collectors and enthusiasts in the world of classic sports cars.
