ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sprite Photography is a small but established photography company with over 10 years' experience working in and alongside motorsport and automotive brands. Rick Noël, the founder, is based in a village on the border of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire with good access to many circuits and motoring facilities, including Silverstone, Millbrook Proving Ground and Bedford Autodrome. Sprite Photography specialises in automotive, motorsport and motoring events coverage.
ABOUT THIS COMMISSION
Captured at Bicester Heritage by Rick Noël, this is a Porsche 911 Safari restomod. Inspired by Porsche‘s off-roading heritage, this retro 911 was built by Heritage Autowerks and features a reinforced ’84 Carrera Shell, a 3.6 litre air-cooled Flat-Six (993) and a five-speed 915 manual transmission. The Cibie spotlights, lifted suspension and monstrous BF-Goodrich All-Terrain tyres clearly borrow from the legendary 953 rally car that stormed to Paris-Dakar success.
